Caterham is a town located in Surrey within the parish of Caterham Valley and comprises one of the main urban settlements within the District of Tandridge. The town benefits from a train station which provides direct links into London and a High Street and shopping centre providing extensive services and facilities.
Sustainably located just a short walk to Caterham town centre the site covers a total area of 4ha of which approximately 2ha is proposed for housing with the remainder providing extensive areas of woodland and public open space which will connect into existing footpaths. Being surrounded by housing on three sides ensuring that development would effectively act as an infill. A scheme is currently being prepared to provide for around 60 new family homes with 20 being affordable.
The scheme is now being promoted through Tandridge District Councils Local Plan process with the aim of attaining an allocation. Croudace will look to hold a public exhibition in Autumn 2016 following Tandridge District Councils preferred options consultation.
